I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those of you who do not already know me.  My name is Kathleen DeVitto and I have had the pleasure of being The Wentworth’s Sales/Wedding Administrator for the past 4+ years.  I am one of the very few people out there who can actually say they enjoy what they do on a day to day basis.  Who wouldn’t enjoy meeting happy bridal couples and hearing their love story?

Planning a wedding can be somewhat nerve wracking, confusing and out right stressful for many brides to be.  There are so many little details that go into planning a memorable day that often times brides overlook.  That’s where I come in.  I will work with each bridal couple every step of the way.  We’ll chat about how they envisioned their day to be and then we’ll come up with creative ideas on how to execute it. I keep my couples on track and focused on what details need to be planned next all while still making sure they are having fun, enjoying the process and not losing site of what the day is truly about.

Here we are, the beginning of February, and I can say we are just about booked for every weekend for the rest of 2013.  I do have a couple of weekends open still for July if there are any bridal couples looking to tie the knot soon.  Having as much experience as I do, planning a wedding for this July gives me more than enough time to gather details and customize a spectacular wedding weekend.  Remember, I’ll be there every step of the way to guide you through it.

It is my goal to have all my weekends booked with weddings for the year.  To help with this I would like to present a special offer to any bridal couple who books their wedding with me to be held in the month of July 2013 with a special discount of 100% off our regular tent rental fee of $2750.

Elopement Package

Get married in style at our comfortably elegant granite mansion.
The process to obtain a marriage license in New Hampshire is an easy one -- no blood tests and no waiting time. Just make an appointment with our administrative Town Clerk on a Monday evening or a Saturday and your license can be ready within about a half an hour. There is a $45 fee, and you will each need positive proof of identity, plus a copy of any divorce papers, or death certificate, if either of you have been married before. (If you live in NH, the State prefers, but doesn’t require, that you get your license in your hometown. If you don’t live in NH, you can also get your license at any NH Town or City Hall. ) A license is valid for 90 days. Your wedding ceremony can be on the same or the next day but must be within the 90 day period.

Our Elopement Package rates are from $700 per couple for two nights. This package includes:

• Lodging in a Deluxe Room
• Full Country Breakfast each morning
• Our wonderful 5-course Dinner on your Wedding Night (Depending on the day of the week, and the number of people staying at the Inn, our Chef is usually amenable to cooking a favorite dish or two for your wedding night dinner.)
• The Ceremony
• A Wedding Cake for 2
• A Bottle of Champagne, and
• Approximately 24 photos taken by a Notchland staffer

Flowers are available locally, and we are happy to give you names of florists. And just let us know if you want a list of other local services like a beauty salon, professional photographer or videographer.

The rate is increased if you stay more than 2 nights, if you add dinner on other nights than your wedding night ($80/night), if your stay includes a Friday and/or Saturday night, or if you choose a Suite or a Cottage.

Suite Elopement Packages start at $800, and Cottage Elopement Packages start at $840. All rates are further subject to 9% NH tax.

To take advantage of these options, you need just call us at 800.866.6131. We'll discuss the various possibilities with you and make your reservation. We require a deposit of half the total package to confirm a reservation, and that can be paid on a credit card, or by check.
