The Bed & Breakfasts Inn Mt. Washington Valley (BBInnsMWV) are pleased to announce the annual Ghost & Goblin Trail©, Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 10:30 am to 5 pm. The self-guided tour of participating inns ... each with their own ghost stories ... will offer ticket holders a sampling of traditional treats prepared especially for Halloween. The Ghost & Goblin Trail© stretches throughout the Presidential Range of the White Mountains of NH. Featured inns and their Country Partners, several locally owned and equally fun-loving businesses, will open their doors to costumed characters, spirits in Halloween make-up, and street-clothed participants alike. Those "dressed for the occasion" will automatically receive their treats and clues. However, those in street clothes must earn their treat at every stop ... by first performing a task drawn from a bag o' tricks. Guests will also participate in the judging of each inn's entrance decorations and treats.

The Great Mystery Muddle of the White Mountains, a riddle and jumbled word contest, can test the skills of the most diligent detective. Tour inns will accompany their gastronomic goodie with a clue hidden within their tour booklet page. Properly interpret the clues and “de-jumble” the combinations, and take home the Grand prize. (Should more than one savvy sleuth unscramble the correct answer, the lucky winner will be chosen by random drawing.)  The grand prize valued at over $400 includes:

• $200 certificate toward a two-night stay at any participating Bed and Breakfasts Inn Mt. Washington Valley
• Dinner certificate for The Notchland Inn

New Year's Eve Package

Join us for what promises to be another exceptional evening. Celebrating the dawning of a new year is such a memorable occasion and at The Wentworth it is a look back as we move into the future with one of Bostons Premier Bands - Brandy,  a 5 piece, high energy band that has been recognized throughout New England as one of the premier Boston bands.  

Brandy's instrumentation consists of guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and the added excitement of saxophone, trumpet, flute, and flugel horn.  With great male and female vocals, much of the bands popularity has been determined by their ability to sound like the original artist.

Our New Years Eve Package includes accommodations, a gala five course dinner with party favors and a champagne toast at midnight with dancing to a five piece band in our lobby until after midnight.
The next morning we will be serving a New Year's Day Mimosa Breakfast with omlette station - served late so you can sleep in.
