Cranapalooza at CranmoreFebruary 2, 9, 16, 20, 23 CRANAPALOOZA! A celebration of winter, skiing, fun, friends and family! Join us this afternoon for s’mores roasting, face painting, and family fun. Winter FUN Tri in Whitaker WoodsFebruary 2 Three events, three categories! Cross country ski, mountain bike and snowshoe the trails in Whitaker Woods, the intown trail network maintained by the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation. Each event course is approximately 5K each. Enter as an individual or get some friends and enter as a team. 24th Annual Chocolate FestivalFebruary 24 Cross country ski, snowshoe, or drive between participating trailside businesses to enjoy chocolate treats. More chocolate and special offers await at other area businesses. Join us for the "Sweetest Day on the Trails", perhaps the only day when chocolate indulgence is guilt free. Visit trailside lodging properties and businesses and enjoy a special chocolate treat, meet the owners, and browse their business. Visit every trailside stop and enter a drawing for a $200 gift certificate to be used at any of these businesses. A complimentary shuttle will circulate from 1 - 5pm to provide assistance when needed! A full day trail pass is included in the Festival Pass along with hopefully more chocolate than one can eat! Settle into your chair in the dining room to enjoy a chocolate fondue served with fresh fruit, be sure to add strawberries to top a homemade brownie sundae served with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge, and be sure to sample all of the handmade chocolates you'll find. Some lodging properties will also give you a gift certifcate for a special offer to return for a stay. This is a fundraiser for the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring & Snowshoe Foundation. Festival passes, including a full day trail pass, are $30 when purchased in advance and $35 when purchased the day of the event.
