Spruce Hurricane, the valley's premier Specialty shop, welcomes you to the Mt. Washington Valley.  We hope that while you're enjoying all that the valley has to offer you will take some time to experience shopping at Spruce Hurricane.  It is a family owned and operated shop located in the heart of North Conway Village.  The business began in June of 1992 by mother and daughter team Nettie and Amber.  The concept for Spruce Hurricane was to create an unusual mix of merchandise reflecting their family history of a Maine trading post.  This influence is seen in the fine leather goods, fur coats and Minnetonka Moccasins surrounded by rustic home décor.  The shop also echo’s their Native American ancestry with hand – crafted Indian jewelry and western styled items.

            These influences creat a look that is mountain chic, for those who love the outdoors but also appreciate the finer things in life.  Specialty apparel includes Icelandic Designs and Tribal Sportswear.  Birkenstock sandals, Tecnica après ski boots and western boots by Old Gringo are some footwear brands.  Luxurious outerwear from M.
