North Conway Library's Winter Raffle

     The North Conway Public Library's annual winter raffle is underway offering some unique and some familiar items.  This year's presentation is a "New England Potpourri" that includes a variety of items that anyone would find useful or just enjoy.

     The total value of the prize is over $300 with the winning ticket to be drawn Tuesday, December 22^nd.  Raffle tickets are available at the North Conway Public Library and the cost is $2 each, 3 chances for $5, and 7 for $10.  All proceeds are dedicated to the Library's programs.

     The lucky winner of the Winter Raffle will receive a nicely framed New England Primitive scene, a Zeb's gift basket, a lift ticket for Cranmore Mountain (good any day), a $40 gift certificate from the New England Inn for the Tuckerman's Restaurant & Tavern, 2 hand carved walking sticks and hiking fanny pack, three books that reference our area, including Eric Pinder's brand new picture book about Nin the Observatory cat called "Cat in the Clouds," two pounds of Hannaford's New England coffee accompanied by a package of scone mix, a 2010 New Hampshire pictorial calendar with  photos by Dick Smith, and a Woodman's Weather predictor plus a Hardwater Explorer Tip-up for ice fishing with reel and line.

The North Conway Public Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 and Christmas Day, Dec. 25. Regular hours will resume on Monday, Dec. 28 from noon to 5 p.m.

The North Conway Public Library will be closed on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31 and New Year's Day, Jan. 1. Regular hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 4 from noon to 5 p.m.

Regular hours for the library are: Monday & Tuesday noon to 5 PM, Wednesday & Thursday noon to 6 PM, Friday noon to 5 PM.  For more information, please call the library at 356-2961.
