Visiting the Mountain Washington Valley for a week? Staying for a few months? Commuting to the Conway area for work? While only residents of Conway, Albany, & Eaton have free borrowing priviledges, the Conway Public Library invites you to enjoy the following services: Attend a Program Are rainy days keeping you from enjoying the beauty of the outdoors? We would love to see you at any of our fun educational programs. These events are always free and open to the public. From story times to guest lectures, we invite you to join us. Please visit our Calendar of Events for program listings. Borrow an Item from Our Visitor Collection Looking for a book to read by the lake? Want to watch a movie in the cottage you rented? Searching for an audio book to keep you going on the commute home? Then, borrow an item from our Visitor's Collection. Comprised of donated materials, the Visitor Collection includes books, audio books, and movies for adults, teens, and children. No library card is required to borrow items from the Visitor Collection. Thanks to the Friends of the Conway Public Library for funding this project. Surf the Internet Want to check your email or print a boarding pass? Just sign in to use one of our public access computers (printing is $0.10 a page). Want to borrow materials in the Conway Public Library's entire collection? Non-residents may purchase library cards. Non-resident cards expire 1 year from the date of issue and provide access to all library services including borrowing privileges. Fees for non-resident cards are as follows: $70.00 per year for an individual or family $35.00.00 per year for senior citizens $35.00 for four month seasonal card for an individual or family The Conway Public Library offers: Free internet access including Wi-Fi A space for community organizations to hold events & meetings Story times for babies & toddlers as well as 3&4 year olds Access to information sources Opportunities for lifelong learning & personal growth Popular materials to meet cultural and recreational needs Professional staff who are approachable and helpful & provide superior quality of service The Friends of the Conway Public Library is a non-profit organization that supports the Conway Public Library. The Friends work in cooperation with Library staff and the board of trustees to promote the mission, goals and objectives of the library.
