Restaurant/Lounge: Red Fox Bar and Grill.  Full liquor license, wood fired mesquite grill, brick oven pizza, function facility and sports bar.                                         Lodging Property: The Wentworth, a romantic historic country inn is located on the golf course in Jackson Village.  There are also many other Country inns, hotels and resorts located within minutes of the course. History and Anecdotes: Rumor has it that golfers at the Wentworth Golf Club had to deal with a smart little creature who had a habit of stealing golf balls from the course.  According to Lloyd Jones, a local writer, the fox had been seen running onto the course and snatching the golf balls right off of the course.  This  was a frustrating situation for golfers who met up with the fox, having hit a nice drive and then watching the mischevous  fox steal the ball and run off into the woods.   Folklore has it that the fox was not an ordinary one - this fox had style, preferring to steal the expensive golf balls, while leaving the less expensive ones on the course untouched.   The wily creature gained such notoriety, that the course’s restaurant was named after it, now called the “Red Fox Pub and Restaurant”. This beautiful 18 hole course is the focus of Jackson Village with outstanding views of the majestic Presidential Range.
