Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring & Snowshoe Foundation

The non-profit Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring and Snowshoe Foundation maintains over 45 km of trails offering a diverse selection of terrain from easy rolling hills to more challenging intermediate and back country trails connecting Intervale, Kearsarge and North Conway. Enjoy outstanding scenery and breathtaking views of Mt. Washington and the Saco River while skiing or snowshoeing through riverside hayfields and mountainside spruce and hemlock forests. Ski from inn to inn and plan to stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply a stop to quench your thirst. Many trail side lodging properties offer STAY & SKI FREE plans. Ski and snowshoe rentals and lessons are available at the Touring Center.

Visit the Events section on our web site to read about our Guided tours, clinics and Annual Chocolate Festival held the last Sunday in February.

In addition to providing groomed trails for area visitors, these trails are also used by the Eastern Slope Ski Club's after-school ski program, the Kennett High School XC Ski Team for training and regional meets, and area elementary schools for their cross country ski programs.
