General Information:

Voted "Best Romantic Getaway" for the State of NH by Yankee Magazine The Wentworth is an elegant country inn located in the center of Jackson Village in the heart of the White Mountains. A selection of beautifully appointed rooms and suites, some with a fireplace and either over sized whirlpool tub or private outdoor hot tub.  Located on an 18 hole PGA golf course and in winter on the Jackson Ski Touring Center's 158KM of groomed trails. Also within 15 minutes of four major alpine ski areas. Amenities include an outdoor heated pool (summer only) and a clay tennis court. In Winter we offer a ice skating rink for your enjoyment. We have package rates including dinner and breakfast, breakfast only and both cross country ski/snow shoe packages,  alpine packages and golf packages. We also offer both two and three bedroom townhouses for rent by the day, week, month or season.

Directions:

Boston: About 3 hours. Take Interstate 95 north to the Spaulding Turnpike/Route 16 exit in Portsmouth NH. From Portsmouth it is about 85 miles to North Conway, NH. Remain on Route 16 through North Conway all the way to Jackson. Turn right and go through the red covered bridge and bear to the left in the center of town over a stone bridge. The Wentworth will be right in front of you. Portland, Maine. 70 miles about 1 1/2 hours. Take US Route 302 west to Glen NH. In Glen turn right onto Route 16 north. Follow Route 16 for three miles and turn right through the red covered bridge that brings you into Jackson. Bear to the left in the center of the village, go over the stone bridge and the Wentworth will be right in front of you. New York City, NY. 325 miles, about 7 1/2 hours. Take 95 north to Boston. In Boston, to bypass the city, take 495 north and pick up 95 north on the other side. Follow directions from Boston.
