Chamber Music Experience Series
Music has a history at Mount Washington Resort. During select weekends during the summer, the Mount Washington Hotel will come alive with the sounds of the grand musical artists of the past and present. Whether sitting on the veranda catching the sun set over the Presidential Range or sitting in the wicker furniture of the Conservatory, you are sure to enjoy the grandeur of historical proportions.

Dancing and Dinner Series
Participate in this summer series with classic ballroom dancing. On Friday, begin your weekend with a reception and meet your instructor. Saturday offers two classes to learn the steps of elegant dance and style before dinner in our award winning dining room. Your dining experience offers a dance floor to practice your steps. At the end of the evening, share the rewards of steps well learned.

A Flash of Jazz Music Series
A deliberate sound came to be in the 20's of the prohibition era. There is no place more steeped in the history of the era than The Mount Washington Hotel. Enjoy the sounds of the weekend as the ragtime, upbeat tempo of jazz uplifts your emotions.

Name: An Enchanted Ball
Summary: An extended weekend to celebrate the summer season and the beauty of the White Mountains. Saturday evening is a black and white ball where women glow with gowns of grandeur and the gentlemen shine in coats of sophistication. Children enjoy the gaiety of dressing up and dancing with their parents in this family enchantment. Dance in the Grand Ballroom where Joseph and Carolyn Stickney once danced in the time honored guest experience. The remainder of the weekend offers adventure and activity for families and couples.

Name: A Step Forward to Fight Breast Cancer
Summary: There is no other backdrop as beautiful as the mountain playground at the Mount Washington Resort. This first annual walk, is a fundraiser for the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition (NHBCC) and an opportunity to bring attention to individuals in the North Country dealing with the realities of breast cancer. This walk of one-mile, five-miles, or 15-miles is an individual challenge with team support. Following the walk will be a late afternoon BBQ.

Name: Fall Festival of Games and Brews
Summary: A long weekend of family games and challenges with just enough additional fun for the adults. Spend the weekend at Mount Washington Resort as the leaves are changing colors and the peak of Mount Washington turns a snowy white. Take a lift ride for a breathtaking view of the Presidential mountain range or a mountain bike tour down one of the many paths to the mountain's base.

Name: 12th Annual Hallow-Brew Weekend
Summary: Dare to sample seasonal brews from local breweries, explore the ghostly side of Mount Washington Resort with a spooky walking tour, get dressed up for the costume contest, and have your tarot cards read during this weekend of tricks or treats.

As a long-continued tradition at Mount Washington Resort, this weekend of witches cauldrons, black cats, superstition, mischievous acts and spooky tales is fun for the entire family. Bring your own costume, or rent one from the Costume Gallery when you arrive, for the contest for all ages. Stop by the campfire for Halloween tales, take a wagon ride through the Resort, vote for your favorite pumpkin in the Pumpkin Carving Display or participate in one of the myriad of on-property offerings during this 12th Annual Hallow-Brew Weekend experience.

Event Name: Fall Food and Wine Festival
Event Summary: To celebrate the harvest season, The Mount Washington Hotel will host a weekend festival of food and wine. On Friday you are invited to a wine tasting reception. Saturday, participate in the various culinary demonstrations and presentations that will culminate with lavish dinner options stationed throughout the Great Hall, Conservatory, and The Dining Room of The Mount Washington Hotel.

Various workshops and seminars are offered on Saturday to expand your food and wine knowledge and kitchen preparation skills, with enough time set aside in the late afternoon for you get dressed and ready for the substantial evening food and drink offerings.

Friday follows with a step into the holiday season as Santa has promised to stop by for the Mount Washington Resort tree lighting.

Name: Moonlight Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Tour
Summary: Snow and a full moon accentuate the breathtaking beauty of Mount Washington Resort's Nordic and snowshoe terrain. Join our Nordic Center staff on this hour-long excursion along the cross-country moonlit trails of the Resort. If the views and experience are not hot enough, hot chocolate and a roaring fire will warm you following the adventure.

Name: A Family Winter Holiday and Winter Family Fun Break
Summary: Children and adults of all ages will find merriment at Mount Washington Resort's winter wonderland. Magical in its snowy splendor, Mount Washington Resort welcomes winter with a warming embrace. Enjoy a festive celebration of sleigh rides, snowshoeing, skiing, stories with Santa, and holiday refreshments. Snuggle in front of the fire with eggnog or cider before being tucked in by one of Santa's elves. When the sun sets, participate in the entertaining evening family games or relax in front of the fireplace as you prepare yourself to do it all over again tomorrow. Christmas Day invites a full day of skiing and outdoor adventure!

Name: Guest Holiday Tree
Summary: The excitement of the holiday season can be found in each guest room. Mount Washington Resort provides guests with the opportunity to purchase a three-foot Frasier or Balsam tree that will be delivered to their Resort guest room upon arrival. Each tree is potted and has directions for planting following the holiday season. Each tree comes with a red paper wrap and a gift bag with ornaments for guests to decorate in their room. In addition to the tree ornaments, guests will also receive a commemorative Mount Washington Resort ornament.

Name: Elf Tuck-Ins
Summary: Most elves are helping Santa with his last minute toy making, but he will share a few of his favorite elves to tuck in the good boys and girls as they days draw closer to Christmas. One of Santa's Elves will stop by to read, "The Night Before Christmas," by Clement Clarke Moore, as each boy and girl is tucked into bed for the night.
