Horseback Riding:

The most scenic horseback riding in Mount Washington Valley is found on Black Mountain in Jackson. Trail rides leave from the base of Black Mountain at an elevatin of 1,250 feet and venture up to 2,000 feet. An amazing ride that will be the highlight of your visit to the Mount Washington Valley. Horseback riding is offered daily May through October.

Picturesque views and our inviting lodge make Black Mountain the perfect settings for your next special event.  Excellent catering services and an experienced staff will ensure your event is a success.  We provide a full liquor license, on-site catering services, and ample space to accommodate intimate to large gatherings.  Black Mountain specializes in weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, barbecues, birthday parties, fundraisers, and more.

From the South - Boston & Providence: Route I-95 to the Spaulding Turnpike which turns into Route 16, to the Jackson covered bridge, to Route 16A straight to Route 16B From the East - Portland: US Route 302 to Route 16 then the same as above
