General Information:

Celebrating its 50^th season in 2011/12, King Pine and Purity Spring Resort continue to lead the way for families and winter-sport enthusiasts alike. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, affordability, impeccable grooming and consistent snow conditions, King Pine has been an affordable tradition for families throughout New England for 50 years.

Located just 15 minutes south of North Conway, King Pine offers 17 trails and glades, 75 percent of which are suited for beginners and intermediates. The Twisted Pine Terrain Park offers updated elements and weekly events, making it a favorite with kids of all ages. Additional amenities include night skiing, snowtubing, plus an indoor pool and hot tub. Alpine tickets also include complimentary cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating at any point while the ticket is valid. King Pine lift tickets are just $33 for juniors, $47 for adults and free for kids 5 and under every day of the season!

Enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the Purity Spring XC & Snowshoe Reserve. The Reserve features 15km of tracked and skate-groomed trails plus miles of ungroomed trails that wind through forests and twist through tall pines surrounding Purity Lake and the adjacent NH Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. On-site rentals are available.

Snowtubing at the Pine Meadows Tubing Park is a fun, exciting way for families to experience King Pine and is included with your non-holiday Thursday or Sunday night stay at Purity Spring! Sit back and relax on the ride up, then zip down one of three groomed snow chutes to the bottom.

Grab the family and lace up the ice skates! You'll be sure to enjoy our well-lit, zamboni-groomed ice rink under the Tohko Dome -- complete with rink-side campfire! On-site rentals are available.

Experience a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy fields and trails around Purity Spring Resort! Sleigh rides take you from open fields and pastures, through spruce-lined, back-country trails and are a great way to experience winter in New England. Sleigh rides are complimentary with your Monday or Wednesday night stay at Purity Spring.

The winter event calendar at King Pine and Purity Spring is always chalk full of family-friendly fun! From our New Year's Eve family celebration, terrain park events and snowshoe races to our February vacation Winter Carnival, each weekend brings a mountain of fun for all ages!

Springtime events brings BIG fun at King Pine. Experience cardboard box races, crash dummy contests, pond-skimming and much more!

Route 16 North to Center Ossipee, take Route 25 East (5 miles) to Route 153 North (6 miles). From Manchester, NH: (1 3/4 hours) Route 28 North to Route 16 North, then Route 25 East (5 miles), to Route 153 North (6 miles). From Portland, ME: (1 hour) Route 25 West to Effingham, NH then take Route 153 North (6 miles). From Providence, RI (3hours) I-95 North then follow the same directions as for Boston From Hartford, CT (3 3/4 hours) I-84 to I-90(Mass Pike) to I-495 to I-95 North then follow the same directions as for Boston.
