Bretton Woods at Mount Washington Resort is New Hampshire’s largest ski area, offering a variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities on 101 trails spanning 434 acres. Bretton Woods was voted as New Hampshire's #1 Overall Ski Area (SKI Magazine, 10/08), as well as Top 10 in North America for Family Programs, Grooming and Scenery! NEW this year, the Bretton Woods Canopy Tour is a high-flying adventure, including 10 thrilling zip lines! The Bretton Woods Nordic Center is one of the largest and most scenic in the East, with a 100km network that meanders through the grounds of Mount Washington Resort and the White Mountain National Forest, and includes a connecting trail to the Appalachian Mountain Club's Highland Center. Trails are groomed for classical and skate skiing, and may be used by skiers and snowshoers alike.
