General Information:

The CHS was founded in 1935 to preserve the rich and varied history of the Conways.

Our offices are located in Conway Village at the Eastman Lord House Museum. The house was donated to the Society in 1962, by Robert Raymond (bowser) Lord. Here we protect and conserve thousands of fine antiques, paintings, and memorabilia.

New to the Society in 2002, is the former St. Charles Church property located next door to the Eastman Lord House Museum. It is being used for our monthly meetings and available for rent.

The Eastman Lord House is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Wednesdays 2:00 - 4:00pm
Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00pm and by appointment.
Appointments may be made during the months of May, September, and October by calling.

Museum Admission is $3.00 / $6.00 per family

Members and their guests are admitted free with admission charges waived for all special programs and events.

Groups are always welcome. Please contact us for advance arrangements. Group rates are available upon request.

Please visit our website, e-mail or call 447-5551 if you need additional information or want to join the fun at CHS.
