The front nine was designed for the Emery family by Lawrence Van Etten and was built in the early 1900’s. It is longer and more open than the back nine. The back nine was designed by Brian Silva and opened in 1988. It makes good use of the surrounding woods and demands accuracy. An affordable and family friendly golf facility located on the border between Maine and New Hampshire. Province Lake Golf is an 18 hole -- 6301 yard Course. The Course sits next to crystal clear Province Lake and is surrounded by wooded hills. The lake is the focal point as it is visible from 14 of the holes on the course. The woods create a sound buffer imparting a "quiet" rarely found these days. It is a rare treat! Province Lake also has a driving range, putting green day care & a beautiful function facility, whether indoors or out.
