Lodging Package of the Month
Hike & Stay in June, Book by May 15
The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) is celebrating the 125th anniversary of its White Mountain Huts this year by offering 30 percent early season savings at all eight huts, located a day's hike apart along the Appalachian Trail in New Hampshire. As the oldest hut-to-hut hiking network in the U.S., AMC Huts boast a unique combination of traditional high mountain hospitality and classic Northeast hikes, including the Presidential Range for sweeping alpine views and White Mountain 4,000-footer peak bagging. AMC's lower elevation huts offer easier hikes for beginners and families, while above-tree-line huts reward with stunning vistas and more challenging experiences.
AMC's "Huts 125th Celebration" 30 percent off deal is available at any combination of AMC New Hampshire Huts or Lodges with a three-night stay from June 2-28, 2013, Sunday through Friday nights. However, reservations must be made by May 15. This special offer also includes a free copy of Passport to AMC's High Huts in the White Mountains, a helpful planning guide that hut guests can get stamped at each hut to commemorate their anniversary visit.
In addition to getting an early jump on the summer hiking season, the second half of June is prime time for catching the White Mountain alpine flower bloom. Hikers can also take advantage of this special discount to create their own lodge-to-hut adventures by pairing the huts with AMC's Highland Center Lodge and Joe Dodge Lodge at Pinkham Notch. For more details and to make a reservation, call (603) 466-2727 or book online at www.outdoors.org/summerdeals. The promotional code HUTS125 must be mentioned when making a new reservation. Remember, book this by May 15th to take advantage of this offer.
