About this race: This race benefits the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce affording them the continued opportunity to offer free events to the community and visitors to the area. A portion of proceeds is allowed to the Jackson Police and Fire Departments when possible.
Course: A challenging 10K course winding through quaint Jackson Village and along the scenic Jackson Falls. The course includes 1.5 mile uphill at the start rising about 500 feet in elevation.
Water Stops: There will be 4 water stops on course.

Free Family Funergy FestivalSeptember 22 3rd Annual FREE Family Funergy Festival in North Conway! In addition to exhibits and demonstrations featuring alternative energy, energy conservation, and other environmentally friendly themes, the day’s events are set to include such activities as making s’mores in a solar oven and lots of fun exploration games for kids. The event is also set to feature the Nike Sneaker Fling, in which participants can bring in their old sneakers for recycling, try their hand at the sneaker toss, and learn how sneakers can be recycled into such things as gymnasium floors. Also in North Conway Village that day is the Conway Humane Society’s annual Bark in the Park event, in Schouler Park, adjacent to the community center, so there will be lots of family-friendly activities going on in the village on Sept. 22. The Free Family Funergy Festival is supported by 4 Our Kids Recycling Services, and Green Team Charter Sponsor, Cormack Construction Management Inc. A committee of the Mt. Washington Valley Preservation Association in affiliation with the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Mt. Racers will pedal down a course on steel tricycles similar to the "Big Wheels" of years gone by. The "Grand Prix" format allows 4 trikes on course at a time. Unfortunately, they run into a group of bumbling pirates who try to thwart their efforts by stealing the treasure.
