Thad Thorne 5k Memorial Trail Race
Long-time general manager of Attitash, Thaddeus Thorne, put summer at Attitash on the map, initiating the construction of the Alpine Slide and establishing summer operations in July 1976. Considered a Founding Father of Attitash, Thad took part in the original planning of Attitash Ski Area and served as the General Manager for over 20 years. Part of the proceeds of this race will benefit the Bartlett Middle School Ski Team.

Event day registration will be from 8-9 a.m. at The Adventure Center (located at the Attitash Main Base).
All 5k Trail Race registrations include (1) BBQ Lunch Ticket and (1) Single Ride Ticket for the Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster or Scenic Chair Ride. This is a rain or shine event and there will be no refund on entry fee.
The course will be mixed trail conditions including dirt, loose gravel and grass. A trail route will be announced soon and terrain on both Attitash and Bear Peak will be utilized during the race.
All are welcome to participate in a free 1-Mile Fun Run. Registration is required and will be open on the day of the event. The Fun Run will begin after the 5k Trail Race.
Note: The Fun Run is a free event. The BBQ Lunch and Single Ride Ticket costs additional.
