If you love Foodie Adventures and, who doesn't, join us when we kick off our Spring season here in Mt. Washington Valley, New Hampshire with the 14th Annual Chili Cookoff. The North Conway Community Center and Gibson Center for Senior Services will, once again, serve as host venues for the professional and home chefs. There will be plenty of Chili and Cornbread to keep you fueled for a day of fun, festivity and a 5K race. We'll also have some sweet treats on hand so make sure you come hungry. During the day you'll want to take some time to wander through beautiful North Conway Village and visit our Red Hot Stops looking for discounts and tastings. And, make sure to stop in at the Spring Artisan Fair on the first floor of the Chamber building, right next door to the Gibson Center.

All professional chef chili entries will be judged by members from the American Culinary Federation White Mountain Chapter, headed by Bryant Alden, Chef from the Wildcat Tavern in Jackson.  Awards will be given for Best Chili with first, second and third places acknowledged.  Professional and non-professional chefs will also have the chance to be award the People’s Choice Award for Best Chili too, selected by all tasters who attend the tour.

After the competition join the fun at Abenaki Trail Restaurant and Pub. The public is welcome to attend the Chili Cookoff Awards Ceremony at 4pm, enjoy delicious appetizers and entertainment by the Riley Parkhurst Project. A cash bar will be available.
