10:15am -Training Opportunities for Your Staff
Crystal Sawyer, Executive Director of Carroll County Academy will share information about a FREE Integrated Education and Training program for staff working in the hospitality sector. Participants will walk away from this program with a better understanding in customer service, strengthen skills in communication, and growth opportunities in their field. Joining Crystal is a Vice President of Hospitality from a local business to share their experience participating in this program.

11:30am - Be Vulnerable - RoundTable Discussion
Nancy Clark, owner of Drive Brand Studios will lead the discussion about navigating business through a competitive market. This roundtable discussion will focus on challenges small businesses face, and an opportunity to ask questions, share information, and create a brainstorm solution together.

11:30am - Workforce resources offered through White Mountains Community College
Join Director of Workforce Development Annette Cole, ABA Hub Developer for ApprenticeshipNH Christopher Lalmond, and M.ED. Outreach Specialist Anjali Rose to learn about programs and resources to help prepare employees to meet the expectations of employers in a variety of skill sets.

12:45pm - DEI Roundtable
An open forum for people interested in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Come listen, and/or share where you are.  What needs and interests do you see here in the Valley and its myriad businesses? Are our communities as welcoming as possible to people of color and other underrepresented groups? How might we advance our understanding of barriers and create further welcoming in our businesses? Facilitators of a Tamworth DEI study group are helping present this informal roundtable.

12:45 - Office of Workforce Opportunity, NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs
Director of Workforce Development Joe Doiron and Workforce Development Administrator Jimmie Hinson will present programs offered through the OWO which include Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act programs for youth, adults and dislocated workers, the Sector Partnership Initiative, and Rapid Response program.
The OWO promote and advocate for talent development by partnering with businesses, agencies, educational institutions, and organizations to support a unified and innovative workforce development system that meets the needs of business and individual customers.

2:00pm - Panel with New Hampshire Insurance Department
The New Hampshire Insurance Department, a state agency, will provide a panel on the services they provide to Granite Staters, important coverages businesses should consider, and answer your burning insurance questions. Panelists will include Deputy Commissioner Keith Nyhan and LuAnne King Supervisor for Property & Casualty Compliance.
